You will go to the following website:
http://www.dnaftb.org/1/
This is a great resource for learning more about the field of genetics. You will be responsible for completing concepts 1-4 (Children resemble their parents, genes come in pairs, genes don't blend, and some genes are dominant).
You should go through all the categories but pay the closest attention to the Concept, Animation, and Problems sections. There are some cool old pictures in the gallery section. This material WILL be tested so do not simply skim through it.
Enjoy!
This blog is the cyber-spot to find out what's happening in all the middle school and high school Science classes at Carrizozo Municipal Schools. I will post links to interesting and helpful websites, keep parents and students up to date with how the year is progressing, and make any PowerPoint presentations shown in class available for download . It will also serve as a forum for me to receive feedback.
